what Are Rubber Bellows?
We are pioneers in the industry in the design and delivery of rubber expansion joints, which are widely used in the oil and chemical industry to connect expansion pipes. These joints solve the expected problem. They reduce vibrations, damping stresses and noise in the pipe system and withstand high temperatures and pressures. Available in a variety of nitrile, neoprene, synthetic, EPDM and natural rubber materials. Minimum diameter: 80 mm and up to 1500 mm.
FEATURES:
Low spring rates
Greater movement by the arc.
Dimensionally accurate
It isolates the vibration
Compensates for the difference
RANGE:
Wide bow reel
Multy arch, wide arch, metallic flange type

The bellows are a seamless, folding, one-piece metal unit with deep wrinkles and very thin-walled tubes. The bellows maybe 0.5 to 12 inches in diameter. Up to 24 folds. The system or line pressure is applied to the internal volume of the accordion. As the inlet pressure changes, the bellows expands or contracts. The movable end of the accordion is connected by a mechanical connecting element. As the bellows and suspension unit move, an electrical signal is generated or a direct pressure indicator is displayed. The elasticity of the metal bellows is similar to that of the coil spring. Up to the elastic limit of the bellows, the relationship between load increase and deflection is linear.
However, this connection only exists when the bellows are compressed. The accordion shall be constructed such that the full path is on the compression side of the equilibrium point. Therefore, in practice, the bellows must always face a spring, and the deformation characteristics are the force resulting from the operation of the spring and the bellows.
Common annoying substances are phosphor bronze, brass, beryllium copper and stainless steel.

A bellows is an element that contains the pressure of a piece of metal with a thin wall and rounded edges. As the pressure inside the bellows increases, these discs become thicker and the length of the bellows increases. The increase in length is the sum of the expansion of all the discs plus the pressure measured inside the bellows.
The movement of the end of the bellows can be used to guide a pointer on a scale. In practice, however, the pressure range required to fully extend the accordion is very small; In addition, stretching the bellows requires pressure.
To increase the range of pressure that the bellows can measure and protect it from stresses, the bellows are pre-compressed and illustrated below.
SteelBird is considered among the affluent rubber bellows manufacturers. Our clients can avail this gamut from us in a wide variety of shapes and sizes as per their specific industrial applications. Rubber Bellows are used as extension joints for moving parts and providing flexible alignments.
